Hello my name is Tyler Vitale and I currently Attend Xavier High School in the graduating class of 2019. As a Junior I held a 3.85 GPA in all honors classes and one AP course. Now as a senior, I will be taking 3 AP courses along with the rest of my classes heavily weighted with Honors classes. Taking these classes have aided me in becoming a great problem solver and a smart and efficient thinker both in an out of school. I am leaning toward business as a major for college and I am open to any geographical location for a school. When it comes to soccer, I make sure I am the hardest working player on the pitch no matter the opponent or drill that I deal with. I also make sure I know how to play smartly, whether it is to provide open space or making that right run to create as many chances for the team as possible.
I have played soccer ever since I was 4 or 5 years old. I have been a part of club teams that play both in state or regionally. Currently I play for the 2001 CFC North NPL team and have played three years for the Connecticut ODP 2001 team. I play in the NPL league for my club team and that involves many teams all throughout New England. Apart from soccer, I compete in the distance aspects of track and field, running the 800m, 1600m or the 3200m. I was easily fitting into this endurance type sport because I have been running on my own since 7th grade and I have run in multiple 5k races.
It has been a goal of mine to play soccer at the collegiate level for some time and I know that my hard work and dedication to both my studies and athletics would make me a great asset to a college soccer team.
