Michael McCool '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, I am currently in 9th grade and 15 years old. I play for Sporting AC NAL 2008 and Varsity soccer at Caravel Academy. When I’m playing with my club team I’m a center back and with Caravel I play left center back. 

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I am looking for a college that has strong athletic and academics programs that will prepare me for for my future after soccer. I want to play at the highest level possible in college soccer and I will make as much effort needed to achieve this goal. This approach allowed me to be a quality varsity player as an 8th grader on a state championship team. Furthermore, I would want to contribute to your team as soon as possible, so if you have any pointers for me that would be great!  
From my positions, I like to play fast.  I’m right footed naturally but I also use my left to move the ball quickly down the field so the opposing team doesn’t have time to get ready. I also have a good field vision of where my teammates are going to be which catches the other team off guard.
