Personal Statement

Hello my name is Andrew Graves, I am a 2024 boys soccer player at Classen School Of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My NCAA clearing house is #2310134617. I am 5’11, weighing 160 lbs, my GPA is 3.5. I average 5 goals a season,  15 assists, and 20 - 25 shots on goal a season. I have been playing in a starting position since freshman year and on my academy teams. I was voted Offensive Player of the Year by my teammates and coaches. I was instrumental in my team's return to the state playoffs. Not only is my speed explosive, as evidenced by my state qualification in the 4x100-meter relay, I am also skilled in guarding the ball, passing, and, dribbling at high speeds. The game of soccer has allowed me to identify my passion. Soccer has taught me about preparedness, composure, accountability, and how to maneuver through challenges.  I love soccer so much that my goal is to continue soccer at the highest level. It is common for me to take my school work on the road during my academy season, and balance time so that I can maintain an honorable GPA. I am no-nonsense on the field and in the classroom. My game will be at the highest level of competition at whatever university I attend. My options are wide open as I explore a multitude of universities with quality soccer programs and excellence in academics.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
