Daniel Florkowski '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Danny Florkowski. I am a starting center midfielder for Beach FC ECRL team and strongly contributed to our team being semifinalists last year in the Virginia State Cup and finishing 3^rd in our league. I have a very strong work ethic on and off the field and feel I am a great teammate. I am a solid, physical presence in the midfield who is strong at winning 50/50 balls, quickly transitioning to the attack, making quality passes to my teammates and creating dangerous chances at goal for my team.  During the past High School season as a sophomore, I played in every game and ultimately helped our team win the Virginia Class 5 State Championship. I am very strong with both of my feet and throughout the high school season, I mostly played both left and right-wing, and both left and right-back. During the fall/winter when High School Soccer is not in season, I run cross country/indoor track to help stay in shape.

As a student-athlete, I maintain discipline and hard work in both academics and athletics, and I am proud of my GPA of 3.84.  I am enrolled in many Advanced Placement classes as well. I am looking to major in Computer Sciences, Graphic Design, or History.  My ultimate goal is to play College Soccer and the highest level possible while I earn my degree.

Currently, I am most interested in schools throughout Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or North Carolina, however I am not restricted to those areas.
