I am a 17 year old senior who has been competitively swimming since I was 5 years old. I am an extremely hard worker and I love to be challenged. I do not back down from hard workouts and love feedback. I am an excellent student of the sport. I work hard on making the changes suggested to me and am willing to try new things. I am supportive of my teammates and work well with all of them. I try to lead by example, but I also am the athlete that is at the end of the lane cheering and helping my lane mates keep pushing when it is hard. I hope to make a difference on the college team I am a part of. Not only with my swimming skills, but being a positive influence and role model of what it takes to get your goals.

I see the many places that my leadership is important, not just working hard, but staying positive even when things get hard.
