I grew up loving the sport of swimming. Ever since I was four, the sport of swimming has been a daily part of my life. I have gotten the opportunity to meet multiple coaches in my lifetime and, without each of them, I would not be where I am today.
Hi, I am Maxim Kruglov, a junior that is currently attending Canisius High School in Buffalo, New York. I was born on August 28, 2003 in Orchard Park, NY. I am currently 5’11” and 140 lbs. Right now, I favor 200 backstroke and a distance freestyle.
Outside of swimming, I tend to spend my time playing basketball and rock climbing. I also enjoy doing cinematography from time to time. I try to lift twice a week at home and my practice schedule is everyday except for Sunday. As of right now, my life is mainly school and swimming. However, none of this would be possible without the support of my parents. They began this journey with me and have helped me for many years. They were the ones that showed me something that I truly fell in love with. When breaking it down to academics, I would like to major in some sort of physics study, and would like to move into the medical field later in life.
To conclude, I am a respectively hard worker and take time out of my day to find something that will improve my swimming life. During practices, I come off as a very energetic and positive person, but once I am out of the pool, I tend to keep to myself more when alone. I am very attentive to my coach’s guidance points and try to implement the idea into my swimming as effective as possible.
