AwardsI have been among the Top 10 in my class since entering High School.
I was a member of the South Carolina Governors School for Science and Math’s Accelerate Program in 10th and 11th grades. This program allowed me to be a student at the Governors School (dual credit- College Level) while remaining onsite at South Pointe. The decision to choose this option versus their residential program was driven mostly by my desire to be able to continue to swim with my team here.
ActivitiesDuring the summer, I work as a Camp Counselor at the Upper Palmetto YMCA’s Camp Cherokee in Kings Mountain, NC. I not only supervise campers and guide CIT’s, but I most enjoy mentoring youth on a personal level and developing their leadership/life skills to help them (in a small way) become better young men. I have a small tutoring business that has seen an increase in demand this year as many students are working virtually or attending school on a hybrid schedule.
I am also a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Young Life and volunteer for the All Sports Booster Club.
