National Jr. Team Tennis

Oklahoma City Jr. Team Tennis Advanced won the Missouri Valley Title to attend the National Jr. Team Tennis National tournament. Beau played with a newly formed team and out of the 18 teams attending, OKC placed 8th in the Nation.

National Jr. Team National Winners. - Beau was on the National doubles team that was undefeated at the National tournament. The Oklahoma City Jr. Team won the title as Missouri Valley Jr. Team Champions to vie for the National Title playing against the top 18 National teams including Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other national teams represented at the tournament for their conferences.

ActivitiesVolunteer, Mentor, 2008-2015 Reliant Living Centers, Meadowbrook Assisted Living, ResCare Residential Services. I have loved sharing time with developmentally delayed adults. Time is spent working on social and communication skills, personal hygiene and independent living skills. We have enjoyed attending professional and collegiate athletic events, church services each Sunday, going to the zoo, sharing holidays, daily activities focusing on productive work ethics and positive daily living habits. Sometimes just hanging out, watching movies, coloring, laughing, playing basketball or a sport that they could do in a positive and encouraging way. Special Olympics, bowling, boche' ball is always a happy and fun time, too.
