Marti Hinshaw '21 Recruiting Profile

I am currently attending Westmoore High school in Oklahoma City, Ok. I will be graduating 2021. I started playing volleyball in the 6th grade age 11. I have tried every sport out there and found Volleyball to be the sport I was most passionate about. My dream is to someday earn a college degree and play at the highest level of volleyball. I envision my college to be a personal growth period. I work very hard to excel in the class room. I have a busy conditioning schedule with both club level and school level of volleyball. It has taught me to manage my time both academically and athletically.

I am a player that is coachable and wants to continually learn to become a better volleyball player. My strengths are being a leader/captain to the team during the 3 club levels and my freshman level of high school. On the court, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence to the team. As a student-athlete, I understand it requires a great deal of commitment, responsibility, determination, and motivation. Each of these qualities contributed to a solid foundation of my character and, furthermore, qualities I deem necessary to be successful in school and beyond. I I am a six rotation outside hitter looking for a program that can showcase all of my abilities and skills. I started at a young age in the back row as a defensive specialist and made a transition to the Outside Hitter position as I have grown. I play all around but outside hitter and defensive specialist are my strengths. I am very confident in my skills and feel I can be an impact to your program.
