Throughout my track career, I've always wanted to improve. My pole vault coach at my high school sometimes gets exhausted by how much I want to pole vault, but I really want to get better! Pole vault, and the rest of track has taught me that the attributes of perseverance and diligence are super important, not just in sports, but also in life. I am willing to work hard to improve. That is why I would be a good candidate for a collegiate team. My goal by the end of my high school career is to break our pole vault record, which is 14 feet 6 inches. I knew that to break this, I will have to work extremely hard, and I am going to. I work hard in school and my plan is to graduate with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science, which will help me progress further in college. I work hard in everything that I do, so that i can progress towards success in life.
