Hi! My name is Amarhi.
Welcome to my profile!
I began venturing into athletics at the age of 3 with swimming as my first sport. Ever since then, I've been developing my athleticism, trying almost every sport to find my niche. At the age of 7, my mom entered me into a track meet, and to our surprise, I took home a 1st place trophy. At that point, we figured, "this is it"!
At age 10, I joined my county's youth track club, and qualified for and competed in the AAU Junior Olympics every year. This year has been my most successful. I obtained personal records (PR) in all of my events (long jump, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 4x100 relay, and 4x400 relay). I also tried long jump for the first time and became the USATF New Jersey 14U Junior Olympic Champion and Athlete of the Year!
My collegiate goals and aspirations include: obtaining a full-scholarship, majoring in business management with engineering as a minor. I'd also like to become a D1 track and field athlete and eventually make it to the Olympics. What makes me a great candidate for my future collegiate team is that: I am hungry for success, I have undeniable raw and natural talent, I'm young but maturing every day, and I am eager to learn ways to get better. What sets me apart from other recruits is that, I am courageous, humble but confident, and I do everything in my power to balance academics and athletics. I'm excited for my career as a Professional Athlete.
I look forward to hearing from you!
