Gritty competitor and total team player. As the son of former D1 parents who both attended the U.S. Naval Academy (Mom-track; Dad-football), tenacity, teamwork, and discipline are in my DNA. I’ve learned from my parents and coaches that talent is required but that hard work is what really differentiates a person on the field and in life. I love track because I love to run. I love to challenge myself. I love to prove with each PR that my potential is limited only by my willingness to work harder. I also love track because I love my team. I love to celebrate my teammates when they win; most of all, I love to support and encourage my teammates through the daily grind and during those times when success seems so far away. I love this sport and plan to pursue it at the next level. And I know I have the ability and determination to make it happen.
