Personal Statement

My name is Devaren Staples, I'm a senior at Foster High School in Richmond Texas. I’ve been running track since I was 9 years old. The athletic accomplishment I'm most proud of is making it to State in 2024 and becoming a 5 time Junior Olympic All American. Some of my track goals are to compete in the USATF Outdoor Championships and win a medal for Team USA in the Olympics. Outside of sports I love music, fashion, and anything tech/computer related. I hope to earn my masters degree and pursue a career in STEM.
