I've dreamed of playing college softball since I started playing at age 11, and I am willing to put in the work to achieve that goal. I want to play college ball because it is a high level of competition that I believe and know I can compete at, plus there is no other atmosphere that can compare to softball in the excitement and energy that I have seen. I believe in wanting to compete to play at a very high level and also being a good teammate. I am a leader and will help my teammates out anyway I can. I have always made honor roll and am currently on the National Junior Honor Society with my school. Academics are very important to me with softball being a close second. I love playing softball and I am willing to play where ever coaches need me to and contributing to the team any way I can. Even though catcher could be considered one of the hardest positions on the field, I just fell in love with it and that's why I chose it as my primary position. What makes me different from other recruits? I would say my work ethics and drive to compete and play at a high level yet I still understand what it means to be a good teammate. Even on the days where I may not have my best stuff, supporting my teammates will remain a priority because we play a team sport and we should pick each other up.
