Personal Statement
My name is Sophia Fuller, I live in Eagle River Alaska and attend Chugiak Highschool. One of my collegiate goals is being a starter all four years and I will put in the work to achieve that. I aspire to be on team with a good dynamic and chemistry. I believe I am a good candidate because I have strong work ethic and dedication. I am a student of the game and I am always watching collegiate footage to see how I can improve in any way. I learned the game early on from my mom who played as a Division I catcher. She caught every game all four of her years at Coastal Carolina University under Coach Jess Dannelly. She has taught me from day one the importance of proper mechanics to the mental strategy of the game. Above all she helped me find my love for the game. In my opinion what sets myself apart from other recruits is my never surrender attitude, no matter how many runs we might be down in a situation. I always fight until the end and always make sure my teammates never give up as well.
