Personal Statement
I am a fierce competitor. I am looking forward to playing sports while I pursue my collegiate education. I have traveled the country playing softball, baseball, and basketball at a very high level. I have been named an All-American multiple times (2018-2019-2020-2021-2022), profiled by MLB which was made into a commercial, and was part of back-to-back world championships playing against South Korea, Australia, Japan, Mexico and Canada in girls baseball. I am an outstanding hitter who continues to get better with experience and am passionate about leading my team on defense. Known as "Alaska" to my teammates, I cherish every opportunity to meet new coaches and rep my home state from the Arctic. I also competed for Team Canada in Colorado at the International Challenge and attended the USA Women's Baseball National Team Trials.
I enjoy working out and am known for my toughness and aggressive speed. I love to compete and talk on the field to my teammates. I bring a buzz of energy to the game while also being fully invested in learning. I have a 4.0 GPA with high ACT score. I began taking online courses during the Covid pandemic (spring and summer 2020-21). During my freshman year, I was enrolled in multiple AP classes. I am unique in the amount of miles I put into travel in order to face top competition and training--over 100,000 each in 2019, 2021 and 2022-- while also representing my high school in many activities (State finalist in cross country, undefeated in tennis, defensive specialist in volleyball, State finalist in Nordic skiing, #1 ranked team basketball, wrestling, All-State in baseball, NFCA First Team Catcher All-Region, NFCA 3rd Team All-American in softball, and All-State medalist in track & field).
