There are two things that make me the happiest, musical theater and playing the game of softball. My parents tell me that I have been drawn to musical theater from childbirth and always have a song playing in my head, something that carries onto the field and into the dugout as I can't help but lead the cheers for my teammates. I love the physical and challenging demands the game requires, but more so as a team facing them together than as an individual. Celebrating the victories together along with the frustrations of losing, picking one another up and sharing those feelings with the people you spend everyday with. Softball provides me the field as a stage to perform a sneaky bunt or a diving catch, that satisfaction, rewarded by teammates and the cheers of those around me, knowing I did my job.
