My name is Kendra and I am a Junior at Colorado Springs Christian High School, but I play softball for Woodland Park High School. I am the starting center fielder for the varsity team and a center fielder for my club team as well. I've lead both teams in hits and on base percentage and Ive played varsity and high level club ball since middle school, but my softball career started when I was 7. Coursework includes Honors Apologetics. I love supporting and coaching younger athletes in parks and recreational softball, along with watching my fellow teammates participate in other activities in my free time.
Softball experience includes varsity level softball since freshman year, and travel softball since I was 10 and recreational league softball prior. I really enjoy centerfield but I can also play middle infield whenever necessary. My speed and smart base running has really helped me excel throughout the years and having a good bat to pair has definitely helped. Being a leader and good example are compliments I've received from former coaches.
I may not be the tallest centerfielder you've ever seen, but I'm quick on my feet and for what I lack in height, I make up for in speed, agility, base running, and hitting!
