Alison Lopes '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Alison Lopes and I play first base and the outfield. I am class of 2021 from Danbury, Connecticut and I attend Wooster School. I will be playing for the CT Lady Knights 18U with Coach Davina Hernandez. I have represented the Northeast in the USSSA All American Games in Orlando, FL twice (2015 & 2016). I am very interested in playing softball in college, as well as attending a school with great academics. 

I am a three-sport athlete, and I have been a varsity starter in volleyball and basketball. My school does not have a softball program but I have been a starting player on my travel teams. Softball is my primary focus even though I love to play volleyball and basketball. I am a high honor student with an unweighted GPA of 3.86 out of 4.0. My weighted GPA is around 4.4. I have learned to balance my time between sports and school. On weekends when I do not have tournaments I go to the batting cages or the softball field to practice. I push myself to play at a higher level and I aspire to play at a competitive college. 

I am looking to attend a school with an excellent reputation in medicine and sciences. I am looking to pursue a career in the medical field someday, but also to play for a passionate and competitive team in college.
