Olivia Cutter '25 Recruiting Profile

I want to choose a college that challenges me academically where I can also play the game I love. I have played softball for six years, and have always been a hard worker whether on the field, in the classroom, or pursuing any of my interests. I played travel ball from age 12-14, then made varsity as a starter my freshman year of high school. I am loyal to my teammates, am very coachable, and give my full effort whenever I step on the field. I am also very driven to accomplish my goals. I strive to lead by word and example while learning and growing from my mistakes. The most powerful thing I have learned while playing softball is to never give up. This relates to me on a personal level, whether it comes to wanting to play a certain position, or batting a certain place in the lineup, etc., if I work hard and don't give up on my goals, I can achieve them. I have also seen the power of never giving up in whole teams, including my own, when it seems like you're out of a game but you come back because the whole team decides not to give up.

I attend a K-12 classical school called Veritas Classical School and will be part of the first graduating class in 2025. Because it is so small, I play softball at the public high school that I am zoned for. Although Veritas is small, I have learned a lot about leadership there, paving the way for future students who will attend the high school.
