AwardsAcademic Award Ceremony - Ceremony based on grades, where I received an academic letter.
High Honor Roll - 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grades
8th Grade Awards Ceremony - Throughout the duration of this ceremony various certificates were awarded to students who achieved high excellence. A few of the awards I received are: the President’s Award For Educational Excellence; Top 10 Students of the Class of 2021; Certificate of Perfect Attendance; The All-Academic Scholar / Athlete Award (first team 3.5 and higher); the awards for outstanding achievement in Spanish, Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Physical Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Art, and keyboarding; and finally I also received the “Picasso Award For Thinking With an Open Mind”.
ActivitiesCommunity Service - I completed about 110 hours of community service hours in 8th grade for Beta Club, and as of this year I have finished around 50 hours.
River Valley Christian Fellowship - the church that I attend. I participate in church events such as VBS, where I help to check in and take care of children; I also assisted in face painting for the carnival hosted at my Church.
Beta Club - Club members were chosen based on grades and behavior. Those accepted accomplished community service hours.
Beta Buddies - this club is an extension of beta club, where a select few are chosen to talk to and be “buddies” with disabled children; to help them become more comfortable around other people.
