I do my best both on and off the field, giving it my all during the game and in my school work. I strive to be my own personal best each day. I pride myself as being a leader too, both with my team and my classmates. Teamwork and leadership go hand in hand in that helping others succeed only makes our team stronger.
My current goals are to play Division I softball at either a Power 5 or mid-major level while also earning a degree and quality education. In the next few years, I plan to not only build myself into a better player, but also a better student. Learning, like softball, is a “journey and not a destination”; I never want to stop yet always strive to continue to improve. I plan to continue a rigorous schedule of classes during the remainder of my high school career to best set myself up for success at the college level too.
I still have to take the SAT and ACT, but I am confident that I will be prepared to do well on these tests. Having a goal of playing collegiate softball in which to work towards helps me focus on completing the necessary steps to achieve it.
