My name is Nia Francis. I’m a girl from a small island in the caribbean with big dreams. I live the game of softball with entire body. It’s not only a game but a lifestyle i wish to continue living. I started at the age of 9 and i never looked back. Over the years i’ve proven to everyone that I am a player with heart and passion for the game. This has led me to experience playing in different countries, islands, and states and leave my mark there as well. I plan to compete on the collegiate level. If im given the chance to, you will not just be gaining a player but a leader and over achiever as well. I‘m “all about ball” however, i never let it interfere with my academics. I’ve been on the honor roll or principal‘s honor roll from the time i was first enrolled in school. I have been class president in my earlier days, a member of the student council, a current member of the National Honor Society, a current member of my school‘s Moot Court Club, former of my school’s Interact Club, and a current member of the Yearbook Committee. My story does not end after High School. I plan on showing my fellow peers from the caribbean and in the world of softball that we could do anything we aspire to be. I aspire to put my island on the maps and encourage other girls like me to advocate for themselves.
