Cora Smith '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Cora Smith and I currently play 16A for the Iowa Blitz Fastpitch out of Des Moines, Iowa. I attend Creston Highschool as a freshman this year and achieve good grades. I am a part of many activities such as FFA and T.A.G while participating in Softball, Track, Cross Country and Basketball. My goals are to play softball or track at the collegiate level while studying to be a Veterinarian. I primarily play in the middle infield and center field. I work to better my mechanics in fielding and batting constantly while also striving to better my understanding of the mental aspect of the game.  I am a very coachable team player who is always looking to better myself as well as my teammates. I aspire to be on a team that pushes me to be my best and helps me to grow and learn in this game that I love.
