Rylie Robertson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Rylie Robertson and I am a 2023 graduate from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa. I am currently in my third year as a starter for our varisty softball team in which we placed third last year at state. This year I continue to start as a second basemen; however, I am also moving into other positions such as third and outfield to help the team out. While playing second base I personally feel like I excel at covering a big range and my favorite part of the game is tweeners. Last year I finished our season with a .955 fielding percentage as well as a .318 batting average all while playing through a torn labrum in my shoulder that happened midseason. I consider myself a very supportive and upbeat teammate, I value taking a big part in making everyone feel included on the team. I also value my work in the classroom graduating with a 3.6 gpa and over 30 college credits all while being a multisport athlete playing both softball and volleyball. I am really interested in traveling outside of the state to continue my academic and athletic career.
