Personal Statement
I’ve been playing softball since I was four years old, but really started to love it at the age of 10. Softball is a challenging game and takes a lot of work. When I’m struggling or facing challenges, it is a great feeling when I am able to work through it. I also love the relationships I have with my teammates on and off the field and look forward to continuing my academic and softball career in college.
In addition to softball, I play high school basketball and run track. I’m also involved in 4H and FFA and have shown cattle at our county fair the past six years. Taking care of animals takes dedication and hard work which has helped prepare me for playing sports at a higher level.
My goal after college is to work in the sports medicine field as a chiropractor or physical therapist.
