Autum Riggs '21 Recruiting Profile

Sitting out my sophomore season, due to transferring high schools, initially seemed like a curse, but it was actually a blessing. This allowed me to connect with the young girls on our JV team and helped me develop even more as a leader. I soon realized that my actions needed to positively affect my team and strive to make us better as a whole.

I have been fortunate enough to play with girls who share the love of softball, similar to me. I learned that no matter what uniform I have on or if it is my first or hundredth time taking the field with that team, my teammates have my back and I have theirs. I am looking for a program that will meet both my athletic and academic needs. I believe that I have the talent to play at the college level and the intellect to excel in the college academic setting. I am driven, tough, and committed to every task I take on and off the field.
