I am a student athlete. I am young and want to get ahead in the count before it starts. I am confident in myself and in my teammates. When someone misses a play I am there to pick them up. I am loud and I am a leader. I think what sets me apart from others is that I am not afraid to be myself and take charge even if I am the youngest one on the field. I strive for greatness and I earn my spot on the field. I work hard for my spot and I don't expect anything to be handed to me. I hustle to my spot on and off the field. I try my best to take every oppurtunity that comes my way. I encourage the team when there is no chance of winning. When someone strikes out or misses a play I am there to cheer them up and keep them going. I keep up with school work and softball even if I am out until 9:00. I get the work that is due tomorrow finished before I go to sleep. My grades never slip, not even for a second, and I am always ready to go out and play the next day. I am strong and a leader and I have a love for the game of softball.
