Personal Statement

My name is Madison Lee Chaplin, Class of 2024. I currently play for Quitman High School Varsity. I play Outfield, 2nd Base, 3rd base and Short Stop. I also play hind catcher for Quitman High School. During my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year at Quitman, I was named to All-District and All-State. My Freshman year and my Junior year I also led Louisiana Class B in Runs scored (55). My Freshman year I led Louisiana Class B in bases stolen (31). My Freshman year I had 108 at bats with a batting average of .343 and an On-Base percentage of .474. My Sophomore year I had 96 at bats with a batting average of .427 and an On-Base percentage of .486, 43 Runs Scored and 26 Stolen Bases. My Junior year I had 106 at bats with a batting average of .453 and an On-Base percentage of .550, and 55 Runs Scored.

I am interested in attending a college that allows me the opportunity to play Softball while receiving a quality education.
