Ever since I was a child in little league i've always been the top performer on my team and the most passionate. Fast toward 10 years and I still have the fire and love for the game as when I did as a little girl. I'm always looking for the extra hour with coach or looking for clinics around my area.
I have always been able to balance my academics and my softball through out middle and high school. Softball is just as big for me, and as important as my academics are. At my high school softball isn't a very big thing for everyone. In my grade alone is about only 5 softball players that are willing to play in high school.
On the field I am an amazing teammate, and player. Very rarely have I got down on myself in a game. I feel as if I need to get upset that I get it done and over with my mistakes at a practice rather then the game. As a teammate, I feel as i'm the happiest I can be to people so they don't have to get down on themselves in a game or practice. I have a spontaneous loving attitude for the game, and my teammates.
Off the field I love to discover what i'm good at, and what i need improvement in to my community. By the end of my freshman year I had finished and exceeded my volunteer hours I have needed to graduate. I've volunteered as a coach for a first grade basketball team freshman year. I'm always looking into how I can make my community better, and how to brighten peoples day.
I've been looking for a college that will be able to meet or even exceed in my expectations of what college softball school be like, as well as offering good programs where I can learn in what my major wants to be.
