Hi!
My name is Alivia Patch, I am a 17 year old class of 2024 at Ralph C Mahar high school. I am the starting 3rd baseman for my varsity team and I play 1st base when needed. I've been playing softball since I was in 4th grade. Softball was the first sport to show me that teamwork, hard work, and friendship are the most important parts on any team. I play basketball and soccer on top of softball and with all 3 of these sports I have learned a lot, being a team player is the most important and useful skill I have learned from all of these. I am always aiming to keep positive attitudes while we are playing a game or in practice. I am a leader on and off the field, I am a captain in multiple sports in and out of school, I am president of Key Club, and I am a camp counselor for basketball programs in the summer.
I would love to keep improving these skills and learning from a wide variety of other players and coaches in college. I believe that with my work ethic, team skills, and an open mind I can continue to build my athletic abilities and hopefully when I am older continue to help girls in my area find the same love of this sport that I have. I would like to study in the teaching field and I would ultimately like to become a speech pathologist or a Special Education teacher. Thank you for reading!
