I fell in love with pitching after attending a college softball camp when I was 9 years old. After the camp, I begged my Dad to become a pitcher. He found me a local pitching coach and my journey began.
When I started pitching, I was told to “get a little bit better every day, and you will see improvement.” From that moment, I decided to work hard every single day and trust the process.
I want to play at the collegiate level to compete against other dedicated athletes who share my passion and work ethic.
What sets me apart from other recruits is that I command the mound, engage my defense, am coachable, and lead my team to play at their best. But the biggest thing that sets me apart from other recruits is that I will outwork everyone to be my best and love every second of the process.
Softball has blessed me in so many ways and transformed me as a person. It has taught me valuable life skills like self-discipline, a good work ethic, teamwork, and, most importantly, leadership. These personal traits will help me achieve my goals on and off the field.
I want to study biochemistry to prepare for the MCAT and medical school to become a dermatologist.
