Personal Statement
Ever since I stepped on to the softball field at 9 years old, I knew I wanted to play softball in college. I have worked hard trying to transform myself from a hard thrower to a pitcher that throws hard and accurate. Although I have only been pitching for 3 years, my velocity has grown tremendously, starting at less than 45 mph to my current velocity of 56 mph. I have set personal goals to expand this further and increase my game. Aspiring to be a doctor specializing in surgery, I know that my academic career is very important. I use my dedication to academics and sports to spark my commitment to myself and my team mates.
