Ashley Senecal '27 Recruiting Profile

^{Hi.  I'm Ashley, a Junior at Merrimack High School in Merrimack New Hampshire, and I will graduate in 2027.} 

^{I've been playing recreation and travel softball since I was nine years old. When I first started, my playing opportunities were limited by being discounted as the youngest in the group.  Many coaches I played for did not recognize my potential in what I could become, focusing on the girls slightly older and who had been playing longer. I continued to remain positive as I just wanted to play softball.} 

^{Over the past several seasons, I have been fortunate to be playing for coaches who have continued to push me outside of my comfort zone and let my talents blossom.  They believe in me, and want to see me succeed as a teammate, and as an individual. This has grown my confidence, I have developed a more competitive nature, became stronger individually and a more supportive teammate. I have demonstrated that I am adaptable and can play many positions. My strong work ethic has helped me both on the field and in the classroom.  I have been an honor student through middle and high school, and understand the importance of maintaining good grades. I am currently interested in either Education or Sports Management in college.}
