Softball teaches me all of the good traits I will carry with me in life.  Discipline, sportsmanship, confidence and teamwork  all enable me to be a better player and a better student.  One of my goals is to major in Pre-med to eventually become a surgeon, and I want to play competitive softball throughout my college career.  Catching connects me to my team and allows me to be a strong leader behind the plate, offering my strength as a teammate to my pitcher and to my fielders.
