Personal Statement

I am currently a Senior at Arthur P. Schalick High School in Pittsgrove Twp, New Jersey. As I continue my career into college, I have set many goals for myself. One being that I want to focus on school first, so I may be successful after college and then I want to work hard on being an athlete that a coach can rely on. Although, I play other sports now to keep me shape, I have a passion for softball and it has been my whole life for as long as I can remember. My love for the game and work ethic are what sets me apart from other athletes. I also aspire to further my career in physical therapy. I want to help other athletes and people get back into condition quickly so they may continue their daily activities without restriction. I feel that being an athlete myself gives me insight into what an athlete needs from a physical therapist during the recovery process.
