My name is Madison Ford, and I am a Senior at Southwest High school class of 2024. I started playing softball when I was ten years old, and I fell in love with the sport. I am currently playing Travel Softball for Coach Kevin Doepp and the COB Lady Shockers HS as an infield corner. I am also the starting first basemen on my high school varsity team, and my secondary position is third base. When I’m on the field I love to push myself to empty the tank, when I am on the field I am at home, it my happy place. I try to motivate and encourage my teammates to always do our best play to our highest ability. I also push myself in academics, throughout high school I have received all A’s, am top 5 of my class, and have been inducted into National Honors Society as well as a Junior Marshall and was Junior class President. I have a passion for education, and helping others and hope to teach in my H.S. one day. Softball has taught me that I will never be perfect but to always put my best foot forward and do my best in every situation.
