Personal Statement

My name is Taryn Hampton; I am 17 years old and am currently a senior at Hopewell Loudon High School. I've had a passion for softball ever since I could hold one in my hand. I am a three-sport athlete, so I play softball, volleyball, and basketball. I am a first-year varsity softball starter for my high school team, and I play travel in the summer for "Blackhawks" out of Findlay, OH. I play centerfield; however, my secondary position is shortstop. I strive to be a 1st team All-Ohioan.
