My collegiate goal is to leave school with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or finance and to play college softball. I love the game and the gratification I get in practicing and competing in the game. Softball is a team sport and I am dedicated to the team. I love to play catcher but am often called upon to play shortstop and center field. I have above average speed and have an affinity for stealing bases. I am an above average bunter and somewhere between a power hitter and a contact hitter. I am starting high school softball this Spring and plan to earn a starting position on the varsity team as a freshman. After Spring high school softball, I will play with my travel team, Kaos, and also play for our local recreational team. After that, I play in some Fall tournaments with my travel team and I also play on my local cities team in a Fall league. In the Winter I play in a Winter league with my travel team Kaos at an indoor Winter league in Columbus, Ohio. I love being the girl to lift up my teammates if they are down, help them with their game when I can, and also learn from them. I am blessed to have supportive parents. They will practice with me from shagging balls and running the pitcher machine to practicing my throw from home plate to second. My parents have taught me to hustle. I also want to be the first one on the field and the first one in the dugout. I run down the 1st base line even if it looks to be a sure out. I have run spring track where I ran in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400. I have carried a 4.0 GPA since 7th grade to present and plan to continue this trend through high school. I have earned several Best students awards, Good citizenship awards, and perfect attendance awards.
