Brooklyn Osterloh '25 Recruiting Profile

Softball has been a big part of who I am for a majority of my life. I always found myself wanting to be out on the field even from such a young age. I believe results only come with consistency. As a pitcher, I cannot expect to succeed without dedicating myself and putting in the work. This shows through the work I put into the off season and how it directly translates onto the field in the spring. My sophomore season I ended with a record of 13-2 in games I pitched while also earning awards including: First Team All-Midwest Athletic Conference Pitcher, First Team All-Northwest District Pitcher, and Second Team All-Ohio Pitcher. Even with these accomplishments, it does not give me an excuse to not continue putting in the countless hours to keep succeeding. I want to achieve bigger and better things this season so these past achievements will push me to continually get better throughout these next few years. Softball has shown me that in order to get something that I want I can't just sit back and expect things to come to me, I have to earn it.
