AwardsAmaya is a member of the Chickasaw Honor Society which recognizes participants in three areas: Grade Incentive, Perfect Attendance and Outstanding Achievement.
She is a member of the Chikasha Pehlichi Ikbi Program. The Chickasaw Nation Chikasha Pehlichi Ikbi “Creating Chickasaw Leaders” is a youth leadership program providing members the opportunity to obtain leadership and cultural knowledge through a 10-month, age appropriate program, offering leadership, business and cultural development courses, and a variety of community service opportunities.
Members refine their knowledge of Chickasaw culture, learn about other Native American cultures, develop life, social and financial skills, perform duties focused on servant leadership and prepare for higher education to help them grow and become resourceful, impactful young adults.

ActivitiesAmaya participates in the Navaho Native Elders Food Run which included a week-long trip of taking and handing out much needed supplies to Navaho elders living on secluded reservations in Arizona.
She is a member of the Pauls Valley Lions Club. The Lions Club raises funds to provide eyeglasses to disadvantaged youth and elders.
Amaya also volunteers at Abba’s Tables which is a non-profit organization that provides a wholesome meal in a safe, warm and caring environment to underprivileged individuals and families.
