Softball has influenced my life in so many way, it has made me a stronger person in the aspect I have learned that even though I am 4’11” and have had coaches tell me I am too small to play this game, I have found the inner strength to prove to them and myself if I set my mind to it I can accomplish anything, whether it is grades, music or softball. Through this I have also learned how to manage my time on and off the field.
I feel I could be successful in college by being a leader due to the experience I have had in my softball career with coaches, being able to teach others to believe in themselves. Academically I have the the goal of working in the osteopathic medical field, sports medicine. As an incoming freshman I have already completed high school courses Algebra and Spanish I, currently I carry a 3.8 GPA. During my freshman year I will be taking geometry, Spanish 2, AP Biology, AP English. In the time I am not on the field, I march in the high school band, play in the pep band, and work on completing my silver and gold awards in the Girl Scout program.
