Shelbi Pearson '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play softball at the college level and obtain a business degree and work to own a hair salon.  

I have played on the same travel ball team since 8U and we have kept the same six core players.  My strength is knowing how to get along and work with my team mates and respecting everyone on the field.   I feel I could bring a positive impact to any college team with my energetic work ethic and strive to help bring out the best in myself and my team mates.   

I admit my weakness is expressing my own strengths to others.  My parents have always encouraged me not to complain but to be the best player I can be on the field and make it where they can't not notice your playing skills.  Let your actions speak for you.  

I also understand that my academics and character  are just as important as my  playing skills on the field.  I feel the balance of my faith, studies, exercise,  and family time are important to be the best athlete.
