Hazel Painter '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hazel Painter and I currently play for Rapid City Sliders 16U. This year is another year to focus on my mental game. I am realizing it’s okay to make mistakes and that is how you get better and succeed. I am coming into this season with the most confidence I’ve experienced in a long time and I know it’s because I’ve allowed myself to make mistakes. I am truly understanding what it takes to be a top performer. I am undecided in my major, but I would like to do something with exercise science, physical therapy, or sports training. Some day, I would love to coach. I want to give young girls the confidence they need to take softball to the next level. I would love to play at a school that will allow me to get the best education and experience to succeed at my dreams.
