Personal Statement
All my life I have been taught to do anything and everything I do to the best of my ability, and not only that, but love whatever it is I do. I started playing softball when I was 9 and automatically fell in love with it. A few things I have learned about myself since starting softball is that I have a very strong work ethic, I am always open to learning new things, and that I never give up and always keep pushing.
All through high school I’ve been a straight A student who has always tried my hardest, and I would like to stay that way in college. I will always try my hardest in classes just as I do in my high school classes. There have been a few obstacles along the way, but each one has helped me grow to be who I am today. Each obstacle has taught me a different lesson, but the most valuable ones have taught me to be a leader and to never give up. When playing at the collegiate level, I would use these characteristics to be a better player on the field and better person off the field.
