Heaven Moreno '22 Recruiting Profile

I have  been playing softball since I was 5 years old. I realized at my young age that softball is something that I really enjoy doing and is a big part of my  life. My love for softball only grows daily as I challenge myself to be the best on the field at all times, as well as pushing myself and my team to achieve  my/our goals together. I always make sure to get better every time I have the opportunity  to step on the field,  having no excuses by leaving everything on the field. Whether it is practice or a game regardless of the outcome, I believe what separates me from other recruits would be my drive and my dedication to my faith, my team and coaches to give them 100% effort,  As well as not accepting  failure on or off the field due to Poor choices or effort. Instead be able to be held accountable for my actions.  I feel that my drive to be the best on the field physically/mentally drives me to be the best me I can be and allows me to lead my team with size not being a factor but with heart dedication . My goal is to play collegiate softball at the highest level and  to be able to reach my goals in academics to prepare myself to succeed not only in softball but in the real world. Being able to push and motivate myself to reach my goals is a quality that has been instilled in me since a young age, I have been raised and taught  that there is nothing that I cannot achieve or do if I set my mind and heart to it  through hard work and dedication, I strive to play softball at the highest collegiate level, which will assist me in reaching  my goals to have a career and degree in the health and medical field. Also  I would like to mention that I am  Currently a member of the National Junior Honor Society as well as a leader in FCA at my  school,  and currently on the  Academic Honor Roll.
