My name is Alyssa Santana and I am a junior at James Martin High School. I am a hardworking natural born leader who enjoys being loud on the field and using my influence in a positive way. I welcome a good challenge and invest hard work to become a better version of myself daily. My third base experience has helped me develop a consistent defensive game and a strong arm for double play opportunities. I love being a learner and deeply value advice given to me by those trying to help me improve my game. I am goal driven and hope to one day play collegiate ball as I pursue a career in Criminal Law. I take pride in accomplishing difficult tasks that reward solid effort, such as maintaing good grades in advanced classes. Math is not my strength but I choose to take advanced Math classes and AP courses which push me to work harder. I am never satisfied and eagerly welcome opportunities that can benefit me academically or athletically. I strive to make my parents and family proud, and willingly work harder for them just as they do for me. I am big on treating everyone with kindness and respect regardless of their views or actions. I hope to always be myself, set a positive example for others, and be a good representation of the values my parents have instilled in me.
