Hi Coach! I am a Joscelyn Smith, a 2022 C/OF from Llano, TX. I believe that I deserve the opportunity to play college softball because I have truly been longing for it throughout my entire career. Not only has this sport put me through mental and physical trials, but it's always been an outlet and an honor to play with my teammates and in front of my family. I play to prove to myself and others that I as an individual will strive to be strong and confident with all my actions and that I will not quit or give up. In my personal opinion, I feel as if failure pushes me to be who I am today. With each error I may make in a day, it motivates me to do better the next time. Once i have passed my obstacles, I know my next steps to the future are so very bright. My passion for this game continues to grow each and everyday. I do it for myself and everyone around me. I do it because I want to be better. I do it to learn and achieve what I've always dreamed of. I inevitably will appreciate every moment I step on that field because I'll never know when it will be my last.
