Naiya Hernandez '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is name is Naiya and I am a junior. I play shortstop, 2nd and catcher but I will play any where. I have been playing softball since I was 11,I was in 6th grade. I played 3rd base in 6th through 8th grade then in high school I mostly play second, shortstop, and catcher. Softball can be really competitive and that’s what I love about the the game and the feeling of getting an out or hitting your teammates in. My collegiate goals are to get a Doctoral degree and graduate with a high GPA. I would want to major in biology or anatomy. After college I want to apply for a medical school to become a surgeon.
