KayLee Golightly '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is KayLee Golightly and I started playing softball when I was ten years old.  I originally started playing baseball in Germany and eventually transitioned over to softball when I moved back to Virginia in 2017.  I love the game of softball and hope to play as long as I can.   My goal is to be able to pursue an education while being able to play a game that so many girls love and I have a passion for.   

I think I have a unique aspect on life as I am a military child that has lived all over the United States and in two countries of Europe.  I am easy going and determined to better myself as a member of my community by giving back to it when I get the chance.  I truly believe a well rounded athlete in any sport not only excels on the field, but also in the classroom and serves as a role model for others in the community.

I also wrestle for the Riverbend High School Wrestling Team and finished my first season with a 14-1 record and a Finalist finish at the 2022 Virginia Girls State Championship.
